Mallorie Kristoffersen brings graduate training in Cultural Sustainability (Goucher College) and theater arts (NYU) together with 15+ years of hands-on experience navigating life transitions—from insurance and benefits work to permanent supportive housing, estate coordination, and creative collaboration at family-run design studios. As a 9th-generation Howard County native, she combines scholarly expertise in preserving intangible cultural heritage with deep roots in local community knowledge.
This unique background means:
- Trained in ethical oral history practices (Oral History Association standards)
- Skilled in creating safe spaces for authentic storytelling and emotional expression
- Experienced in sitting with people through life’s most vulnerable transitions
